Andrew Russell Profile - introduced by Luciana Sampogna

Andrew has been working alongside me for the past 8 years, travelling and training extensively through Italy. We have both always believed that constantly learning is so important in life. And learning we do, always asking, what next?

It was one evening when we asked ourselves this question that we thought, why not introduce wood fire oven classes? This small question took us to Italy and the many hidden places where the secrets of cooking with fire unfolded.

Andrew fell in love with this cooking method. He mastered the power and the temperature of the oven, he learnt to control the flames. He can tell you by looking at the ceiling of the oven how the heat is simply changing. As Andrew says: Once you learn to read and master the fire, your options are endless!

With a degree in Law and Marketing and a successful corporate job, Andrew has taken on the challenge of teaching in our classes out of his pure enthusiasm and love of cooking. He will be taking his personal time to share his passion and enthusiasm with you. This is enough for me to guarantee your class with Andrew will be a memorable one.

Once again, our cooking classes remain close to home, close to the heart of the family, and at the core of our lives.
